What We OfferJoin a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Pulmonary Care Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you'll care for patients with complex respiratory and medical conditions while working alongside physicians, respiratory therapists, and an interdisciplinary team committed to improving patient outcomes. 24-bed Pulmonary Care Unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio (may flex to 1:6)Diverse patient population that allows nurses to build strong pulmonary and acute care expertiseCollaborative, team-oriented environment with support from respiratory therapists, providers, and care management teamsOpportunities for professional growth, career advancement, and specialty skill development

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plansCare for patients with COPD, asthma, pneumonia, respiratory failure, pulmonary embolism, and other respiratory conditionsMonitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical statusAdminister medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established standards of careCollaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate careEducate patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and discharge instructionsDeliver compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes optimal health outcomes What We're Looking ForEducation: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

One year relevant experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
