Job OverviewFairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med/Surg 7C unit at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN.

• This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the night shift. This position will also work every third weekend rotation. About 7C:Adult patients that require general medical care (pulmonary, rheumatology, renal, infectious disease, gastroenterology, endocrinology, and cardiac monitoring of medicine patients)Bed Capacity: 38Cares for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit and performs advanced monitoring using current technologyManages complex medication and infusion therapiesPatient Ratios: Day shift 3

What to Expect: Structured Learning: Nurse residents will engage in a structured curriculum as part of program (8 hours of learning every 2 months for 12 months) that covers essential skills like time management, interprofessional teaming, communication, wellbeing, social determinants of health, critical thinking, and more! This program aims to deliver a confident, competent graduating cohort. Mentorship: Each resident will encounter several mentorship opportunities throughout the program to claim the guidance, support, and valuable insights needed to thrive.
