Job OverviewThe Registered Nurse (RN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU (transitional care unit) adult patients’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines for Mayo health services skilled nursing facility - Lake City Care Center in Lake City, MN. Nursing schedule includes;Casual / on callDay, evening, overnightMust work a minimum of three shifts per month, which includes two weekend shifts per month and one holiday per yearLake City Care Center is nestled near the picturesque Lake Pepin in southeast Minnesota.

Lake City Care Center Careers (ebenezercares.org) Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual plan of careAdministers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policiesProvides data relevant to the development of the plan of careRN – Assesses plan of care, resident goals and revises, modify plan of care as necessaryProvides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares providedRequired:Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Registered NurseCurrent MN RN licenseAHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional RescuersBLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification.
