You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Education
✓Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related
Qualifications
✓Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.
✓Minimum of 2 years of cardiac ICU experience required; 3 years+ experience in cardiac ICU preferred. ECMO experience a plus.
✓Excellent communication skills.

✓Self-directed.
EPIC experience is a plus. preferred

About the role
The Registered Nurse ECMO Specialist provides nursing care to cardiac or respiratory failure patients who require ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) therapy within the Cardiovascular ICU. This includes patient management, monitoring, and maintenance of the ECMO circuit, and responsibilities related to rapid response for ECMO cannulation, equipment/pump initiation, and set-up.
