• 5 days of hire Emergency Department Highlights:Engaged leadership that actively works to assist staff.Supportive team environment.New and advanced equipment and technology.Here’s What You NeedNursing Diploma required orAssociate’s degree in Nursing required orBachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program requiredEmergency Department experience or trauma unit experience strongly preferredTexas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire andBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterlyCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annuallyACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire andPALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire andTNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred upon hireA high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
