Fort Worth, TX 76104Work schedule: Full-Time, Night Shift (24 Hours/Week) Department Highlights:·         Central Staffing department for 833-bed MAGNET facility·         Level I Trauma Center·         Primary Heart Attack Center PHAC·         Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth·         Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Here’s What You NeedEducation·         Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Experience·         1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required·         Float Pool experience as well as Med/Surg and Tele experience preferred Licenses and Certifications·         RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required·         BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required·         ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support - within 90 days of hire Required·         CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire Required What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process·         assesses the patient·         plans the care of the patient·         intervenes as appropriate·         evaluates the effectiveness of intervention·         Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
