Position Details:Mercy River Valley Orthopedic Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a part-time, 24-hour-per-week position. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic patients throughout their surgical and recovery journey, ensuring a safe, positive, and healing experience.

As a valued member of our orthopedic care team, you will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes in a specialized orthopedic setting. ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Monitor and document patient condition and response to treatment.

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders. Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge planning. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.

Promote patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Deliver compassionate care while maintaining Mercy's mission and values. QualificationsRequiredGraduate of an accredited nursing program.

Current RN licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certification. PreferredPrevious orthopedic, surgical, hospital, or acute care nursing experience. Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
