Registered Nurse - Surgical (4500) Days

Find your calling at Mercy! Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE10,000 Sign On Bonus for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experienceNO CONTRACT Surgical 4500 Bed Numbers: 26Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1Patient Population: Adult orthopedic and surgical patients with a variety of post-operative needs, including joint replacements, fracture care, and abdominal surgeries.

Nurses focus on recovery, pain management, wound care, mobility, patient education, and discharge planning. This unique unit provides experience across both orthopedic and surgical specialties, supporting patients on their journey back to independence.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
