Nurses on this team are highly skilled in managing both acute and chronic GI needs, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Unit Highlights:Newly remodeled 36 bed acute care unitCare for patients with GI recovery, GI bleeds, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disorders, pancreatitis, and post-procedural needsStrong teamwork and supportive leadership including ADT nurses and techsOpportunities to develop advanced GI clinical skillsCollaborative environment with physicians, APPs, and procedural teamsOpportunities for growth, education, and specialty certification What We're Looking ForEducation:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.- If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
One year of acute nursing experience required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. Why Choose Novant Health?
