The therapist also has the responsibility for assuring that all prescribed therapy is performed with quality.
EDUCATIONEquivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS DiplomaOther: Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory TherapyCERTIFICATION & LICENSURERCP-Respiratory Care PractitionerBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare ProviderActive membership in the A. A.
RC. (American Association for Respiratory Care) recommended. Active membership in the C.
S. R. C.
(California Society for Respiratory Care) recommended License or Certification. Must have, present and maintain current valid license from Respiratory Care Examining Committee. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED INOne or more years experience in the practical application of Respiratory Therapy under medical supervision.
With experience In the practical application of Respiratory Therapy procedures under medical direction. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEDemonstration of proficiency during clinical rotation in accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Must present valid license from Respiratory Care Board or Certificate of Completion from accredited Respiratory Therapy Program and a valid work permit.

is $56.56 to $71.80 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
