Licensure
✓Current Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
Certifications
✓Current Registered Respiratory Therapist credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
✓Current Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required.
✓ACLS certification required where applicable based on the assigned clinical area.
Education
✓Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, Respiratory Care, or a related field required.
✓Graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
Qualifications
✓Minimum of two years of relevant clinical respiratory care experience in adult critical care required.
✓Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and respond effectively during emergencies and rapidly changing clinical situations.
✓Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
✓Proficiency with electronic medical records, respiratory care technology, and common Microsoft applications.
