- Friday 8:00am
- 5:00pm; Saturday 8am
- 12pm - sign up basis; 1 major and 1 minor holiday 8:00am
- 1:00pm The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, update medical histories, and prepare patients for provider examinations. Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing such as flu, COVID-19, and other diagnostic screenings. Triage patient concerns and assist with coordinating appropriate care, referrals, and follow-up needs.
Complete patient forms and medical documentation accurately while maintaining effective communication with patients, providers, and office staff. Perform laboratory quality control procedures, monitor patients following vaccine administration, and ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols. What We're Looking ForEducation: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
One year relevant experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN license in appropriate state, required. ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.
