This Registered Nurse specializing in anticoagulation management plays a critical role in promoting patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness by managing anticoagulant therapy under provider-approved protocols. This role ensures adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines through direct patient management to achieve optimal outcomes. QualificationsREQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in nursingExperience: 6 months experience as a registered nurse in ambulatory healthcare settingLicensure/ Certification: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license in good standing. Completion of OSF-approved Anticoagulation Nurse Clinic Education Course(s) (current or immediate enrollment upon hire). Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Ability to work independently and travel between clinic sites as needed.

Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record system.
