You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
✓The following certifications are required within the specified timeframes:
✓Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months
✓Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months
✓NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within 6 months
✓Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department experience or current orientation within an Emergency Department and ability to practice independently.
✓Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
✓The ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
✓Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
✓A commitment to patient- and family-centered care
