As an Emergency Department RN, you will provide direct patient care while collaborating closely with physicians, specialists, and fellow caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and families. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Coordinate and delegate care in accordance with team member qualifications and competencies. Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and caregivers to support exceptional care delivery.
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives. Maintain clinical excellence through ongoing education and professional development. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire. Minimum one year of recent inpatient Emergency Department experience as an RN, or current orientation status with the ability to provide independent patient care within the department.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage: Cardiac patients Complex medical-surgical patients Pediatric patients Multiple-trauma patients Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Certifications Required After Hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 6 months Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a confident and compassionate nurse who: Thrives in a high-acuity emergency care environment.
