• Admission Nurse performs:Assessment with the patient prior to admission via a phone interview or in personCollects the patients' medical history from previous medical recordsWorks closely with the anesthesia department in coordinating the patient's needsPerforms direct patient care activities for all age groups.Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care for patients in accordance with the plan of care, established hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Required:

Graduate of an accredited nursing programLicensure: Current RN license in the state of practiceExperience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experienceCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart AssociationOther

Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
