Worth, a MAGNET, and Texas 10-Step facility, and Maternal Level IV designated facility· Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM) for 36 hours/week, with Weekend and holiday requirements GYN/Antepartum Department highlights:· Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth· Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team· Women’s Services (GYN/Antepartum) 27-bed unit combining GYN, High Risk Antepartum, Breast surgery and Postpartum patients· Provide care to GYN, post-surgical patients - variety of surgeries to include hysterectomies, breast surgeries; Postpartum (NICU moms), and Antepartum patients (all gestation levels)Here’s What You Need· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Nursing Diploma required· BSN is preferred· CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required· One-year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program.

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
