Key
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory disordersAdminister respiratory treatments, therapies, and medications according to physician ordersManage oxygen therapy and airway support interventionsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomesMonitor patient response to treatment and recommend adjustments as appropriateEducate patients and families regarding respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and equipment usageMaintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to safety and regulatory standardsSupport emergency respiratory care and critical patient interventions when neededMinimum QualificationsRequired:Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner LicenseCertified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)Current BLS/CPR CertificationGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy ProgramPreferred:Previous acute care, hospital, ICU, emergency department, or critical care experienceStrong communication and patient education skillsWhy Mercy?
