You’ll need
Certifications
✓Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) preferred but not required.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED required.
Qualifications
✓Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written communication.
✓Basic understanding of sleep study procedures and patient care principles.
✓Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
✓Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry and documentation.
✓Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
✓Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.
✓Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) preferred but not required.
Previous experience in a sleep laboratory, respiratory care, or related healthcare setting. preferred
Knowledge of sleep disorders, sleep study equipment, and diagnostic procedures. preferred
Experience with electronic medical records and sleep study software applications. preferred

About the role
The Sleep Lab Technician performs independently and with self-initiative under indirect supervision. This position is responsible for conducting sleep studies, monitoring patient responses, operating specialized diagnostic equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Operate and troubleshoot sleepOperate and troubleshoot sleep study equipment while demonstrating proficiency in equipment use
