Provides information to the patient about the purpose of the ultrasound procedure and responds to the patient's questions and concerns. Recognizes the patient's individuality and provides quality care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner using professional and ethical judgment. Maintains continued competence through lifelong learning, which includes continuing education, acquisition of specialty specific credentials, and recredentialing.
