Make a Difference The Registered Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders. Exceptional skills and Qualifications Exceptional communication and patient care skills aptitude toward the team philosophy Ability to work independently without direct supervision Basic computer skills Sterile procedure Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique Meets all computer and documentation competencies
Graduate of an accredited sonography program preferred License Required: Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification Why Community?
