This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates interested in long-term employment.
The Medical Assistant will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient daily operations. Candidates must be able to travel between the Limerick and Phoenixville locations as needed. Schedule Week 1 (Training): Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM After training, schedule will rotate and includes: One evening shift per week until 7:00 PM (Monday or Tuesday) One Saturday per month, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at the Phoenixville location Standard weekday shifts between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with rotating hours based on practice needs Key Responsibilities Prepare and room patients for examinations and procedures.
Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information. Assist providers during patient examinations and minor procedures. Answer patient phone calls and address routine inquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records. Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and prepared for patient visits.
Follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality. Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent certification). Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office, outpatient clinic, or ambulatory care setting. Strong clinical and patient communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Willingness to work rotating evening shifts and one Saturday per month. Must be able to commute to both the Limerick and Phoenixville office locations.
Experience using Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine.
