Licensure
✓Active Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for the assignment
Certifications
✓BLS (Basic Life Support)
✓ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
✓NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
✓Experience with fetal monitoring, high-risk obstetric care, and labor management
✓Experience assisting with cesarean sections and providing post-cesarean recovery care
✓Ability to independently manage laboring patients and obstetric triage in a rural hospital setting
✓Ability to recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies
✓Strong clinical judgment, communication, and prioritization skills
✓Willingness to assist with postpartum and nursery care when needed
✓Ability to work mid shifts, including the required weekend rotation
✓AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
✓FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
