Exciting Opportunity for Med Surg RN - Night Shift!

  • Join a dynamic medical-surgical team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care!
  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Specialty: Medical-Surgical

7 PM – 7 AM - Openings: 1 Key

  • Assess, plan, delegate, and coordinate nursing care throughout your scheduled shift.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create organized and prioritized care plans.
  • Supervise and assign duties to LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and Unit Coordinators based on acuity and proficiency.
  • Respond decisively to emergencies and life-threatening situations.
  • Document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and family responses accurately.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including IV meds, blood products, and chemotherapy.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Follow physician orders diligently, ensuring proper execution and evaluation of patient outcomes.

Unit Information:

  • Patient Ratios: 6-7 patients per nurse for medical-surgical care.
  • Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics.
  • Electronic Health Record: Meditech.
  • Current State License is a must!
  • 1-2 years of recent acute care experience is required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Float to all med/surg floors as needed.
