Med Surg (RN)

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Russellville, AR. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy inpatient medical-surgical unit. 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS).

Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required

Current state license, 1-2 years recent acute care experience in a medical-surgical setting, and proficient in nursing assessments and documentation. Responsibilities include delivering patient care activities in accordance with standards, administering medications and treatments including IV medications, maintaining a safe environment by adhering to infection control policies, and responding to emergency situations.

Additional information: The RN will supervise and delegate patient care tasks to team members based on acuity and proficiency, with patient ratios of 6-7:1, and work in a fast-paced, adult and geriatric patient population. Equipment used includes Meditech electronic health records.
