BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Resource Team requirement) Skills required: General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc), PCA pumps Medication gtt management to include: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF Support within the Department: CNA Receptionist/HUC Charge nurse – may or may not have patients Phlebotomy – peripheral blood draws IV/VAT Team: 11a-7p, 11p-7a Resource Nurse – as staffing allows RT, 24/7 Hospitalist, 24/7 Intensivist - ICU provider in house until 11p M-F, till 7p Sat/Sun, VCC coverage and on call Intensivist Telemetry monitoring/tech? no Technology/Equipment: EMR: Epic IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Phillips Floating: If yes, where?
