Part Time, 24 hour Night Rotation
8 hour shifts; weekends and holidays are on call Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:A graduate of an accredited school of NursingPreferred:Bachelor’s of Science degree in NursingPrevious clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory settingLicense/CertificationMinimum Required:Current New York State Registered Nurse License. Preferred:CCRNRelevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
Work EnvironmentWork is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated. Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
