Schedule Options: 3x12s or 4x12s Overtime: Paid after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules Please clearly indicate the candidate’s preferred schedule at the time of submission. Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required. Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available but not required!!
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays. Patient Ratios Typical ratio is 1:7. Please ensure the candidate is fully pre-closed and comfortable with the patient ratios before submission.
Minimum Requirements 2+ years of RN experience required Previous travel experience REQUIRED Active Virginia or Compact RN license IN HAND – no exceptions Epic proficiency REQUIRED – no exceptions Previous experience caring for Neurology/Stroke patients Required Certifications BLS – American Heart Association ACLS – American Heart Association NIHSS Compliance Requirements Chesapeake will not consider candidates with any license or background hits.
