12-Hr Days; every other weekend/major holiday required (May be able to accommodate weekend only blocked schedule) Interview Process: ITO interview Unit Specific DetailsUnit: 30-bed (can flex to 37 beds) mixed surgical unitPatient Population: general surgery, trauma, minor ortho cases; post-op and post-trauma patients; Average LOS: ~4 days; dayshift can expect 1–2 patient turnover per nurse per day Equipment/Skills: Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, BiPAP, CPAP, trachs, chest tubes, tube feeds (Kangaroo pumps); dysrhythmia interpretation required;Support Staff: Phlebotomy, 1–2 CNAs per shift, sitters, charge nurses, and a rapid response team Floating: Required to float to other Med/Surg units as needed Ratio: 1:5–6* *Ratios are subject to change based on facility needs and are not guaranteed
