18-week contract for 8/31 Orientation (end date 1/2/27),18-week contract for 9/14 Orientation (end date 1/16/27),16-week contract for 9/28 Orientation (end date 1/16/27)Position DetailsRN Intermediate Care (2E)Travel candidates only (Must be 50 miles outside of facility)Dysrhythmia exam needed (Study guide available in Simplify Library)Experience with Critical thinking and recognizing early signs of deterioration requiredExperience with Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation, ACLS, knowledge of cardiac drips preferred (titratable drips on unit)2 years recent experience requiredTravel experience preferredPrecept and/or charge experience preferredWill float to MS/Tele unitsBLS, ACLS, NIHSS required12 HR Nights - Expected to work every other weekend and holidayITO interviewUnit Specific Details29 beds, capability to go to 37 (8 semi-private rooms)Ratios* are 1:3-5Support staff: PCTs (and HUC days only)Equipment: Telemetry monitors, wound vac, warming blankets, IV pumps, PCA pumps, BIPAP, high flow nasal cannulas and chest tubesPatient population: CKD, DM, CHF, UTI, GI bleeds, respiratory failure/COPD/pneumonia, sepsis, STEMI etcSystems aside from EPIC: PerfectServe, Dimensions*Ratios are never guaranteed but what the unit attempts to achieve with normal staffing.
