Respiratory Therapist

3 - 10 hour shifts. To ensure that Respiratory Therapy services rendered (the evaluation and treatment of patients) are completed in a timely, accurate and reliable manner. Those served include inpatients, outpatients, UHS staff and employees as well as affiliated UHS community groups as needed.

Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory TherapyPreferred:One (1) year experience as a Respiratory TherapistLicense/CertificationMinimum Required:New York State Respiratory Therapy Permit or LicenseRegistered by the NBRC as a Respiratory TherapistCPR and ACLS Certification within 3 months of hire Work EnvironmentWork is performed on all patient care units mostly at bedside.
