$20.31 Job Purpose: - The BA/BS Counselor is responsible for providing high-quality counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their mental health and well-being. - Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. - Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate care and provide holistic support to clients. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral health. - Engage in regular supervision and consultation to enhance clinical skills and ensure the delivery of high-quality services. - Support clients in crisis situations, providing appropriate interventions and referrals as needed. - Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources to promote understanding and engagement in the treatment process.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling or mental health setting. - Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with substance use disorders.
