- Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and procedures. - Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for consumers with mental health and substance use disorders - Ensures continuity of care when admitting, discharging, referring, or transferring a consumer - Supervises and implements admission protocols for services - Administers and transcribe medications as ordered by the physician - Must have functional knowledge of the Baker Act and Marchman Acts - Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques. - Managerial and supervisory skills are necessary Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required - Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida - Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred - Additional education and experience may be substituted at the discretion of the Clinical Director of Nursing. Required
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. - Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare environment. - Experience in managing patient care and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
