ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Engineering - BMET I provides day to day operations and support for basic clinical technologies, systems and associated peripherals for the clinical staff and end users at Norton Healthcare. The Clinical Engineering - BMET I is required to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of basic Medical equipment under supervision; leveraging approved tools for asset control and configuration as well as ISO quality procedures and documents as outlined by the department.

The Clinical Engineering - BMIT I is expected to adhere to the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP), including all regulatory agency compliance and other applicable policies and procedures. The Clinical Engineering - BMET I is expected to learn and apply new technology, quality processes and security concepts as medical device technology evolves to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. The Associate must maintain or exceed service metrics set by CE/HTM leadership.

This position is designed to work as directed by the Biomedical Engineering Manager. QualificationsRequired:With Associate Degree or U. S.

Military Biomedical Clinical Engineering Equipment Technology Program completion: no related work experience requiredWithout Associate Degree or U. S. Military Biomedical Clinical Engineering Equipment Technology Program completion: 1 year of clinical engineering, electronic repair or IT experienceDesired:One year of clinical engineering, electronic repair or IT experienceCompletion of U.

S. Military Biomedical Equipment Program Associate Degree
