High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. ServSafe Certification or Equivalent required. One (1) year experience in a food services in a health care facility preferred.
Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or and written instructions. Ability to work a variable schedule to include some weekends. Good physical health and good mental attitude is essential.
Stands and walks most of the day. Handles and manipulates equipment. Stoops and reaches for equipment lift and carries food and kitchen equipment.
Tastes and smells food to determine quality. Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening to work in Healthcare (AHCA) and Pre-employment Drug Test. Knowledge/Skills: Must be familiar with inventorying, cooking by recipes, quantity cooking and following written procedures.
