Oversees the execution of maintenance tasks and projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Monitors and evaluates the performance of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Develops and maintains short to mid-term goals and plans for facility maintenance to maximize safety, aesthetics, operability, and service excellence.
Other duties as assigned. Ensures safe, reliable, and continuous availability of required supplies, materials, utilities, and specialty systems. Conducts quality control testing and ensures proper equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Reviews and verifies maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance maintenance quality and workflow. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to departmental staff. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Monitors planned maintenance on heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning systems.
Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols. Participates in multidisciplinary meetings, committees, and projects addressing educational initiatives, conflict resolution, cost containment, new services/systems implementation, and performance measures.
