Through collaboration with Community Health Network, we provide convenient access to care while fostering a culture built on compassion, innovation, and accountability.
As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our providers, radiologic technologists, and patients. This is a fast-paced, patient-facing position where you’ll help ensure an efficient and positive care experience—from check-in through discharge. We’re looking for someone who is organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
What You’ll DoRegister patients and verify insurance and eligibilityRoom patients and prepare them for examinationRecord medical history and vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)Perform point-of-care testing (e.g., flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG)Assist providers during patient visits and communicate patient needsProcess co-pays and schedule follow-up appointmentsMaintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms and front desk areasManage medical records, documentation, and patient communicationsAnswer phones and respond to patient inquiriesSupport daily clinic operations including opening/closing dutiesRequired QualificationsMedical Assistant certification is REQUIRED at time of hireAccepted certifications include: CCMA – Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (NHA)CMA – Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA or CHP)RMA – Registered Medical Assistant (AMT, AAH, or ARMA)NCMA – National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT)NRCMA – Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NAHP)Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) – required at hireHigh school diploma or equivalent required
