✓Obtain certification within 2 months of hire and re-certify annually according to the requirements set forth in the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services related to the Illinois Medicaid Comprehensive Needs & Strengths (IM+CANS)
Education
✓Requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of five years documented clinical experience in mental health or human services; OR
✓An individual possessing a certificate of psychiatric rehabilitation from a DHS-approved program, plus a high school diploma or GED, plus two years' documented experience in provided mental health services; OR
✓An individual possessing a bachelor's degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, education, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, or a related human service field.
