Job OverviewHere at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at our M Health Clinic and Surgery Center in Minneapolis, MN! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Wednesday through Friday from 11AM - 7:30PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:30AM - 3PM. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms magnetic resonance imaging studies as ordered by physician or provider according to approved proceduresSchedules patients for MRI examsEnsures proper identification on all images, accurately completes computer functions according to department policies including appropriate edits, status changes, charges, logging, and storage preparation to ensure proper follow-upKeeps current with and implements new improvement developments in field of MRICommunicates and interfaces effectively with clinicians, physicians, radiologists, technologists and patientsMinimum
Associate's Degree or equivalent Hospital-based Training ProgramR. T.
