Physical Therapist - Resource Team- Per Diem Days

Examines and treats patients referred for Physical Therapy services. Works as an effective Team member that contributes work efforts towards the improvement of quality patient care. Major Job FunctionsThe following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job.

In addition, specific functions may change from time to time:Examines, tests, measures, generates, and interprets data/information findings for physical therapy diagnosisRecognizes, selects, and utilizes effective methods of verbal and non-verbal interactions based on the age of the patientDevelops and modifies goals and treatment plansDelivers various therapeutic interventions accurately and effectivelyDelegates and monitors aspects of care to appropriate PT personnelDocuments services delivered clearly, concisely, and accuratelyAccurately records and submits patient related charges for patient billing and departmental productivityEfficiently utilizes resources of human, equipment and suppliesAuthorized to have access to medications within their scope of practiceOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsThe following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:Education and Formal Training: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE accredited academic institutionMaster's degree preferredCurrent licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of North CarolinaWork
