Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional level of nursing duties for patients served in the clinical areas noted below. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Completion of an accredited program of nursing Associate's degree in nursing Preferred Bachelor's degree in nursing Master's degree in nursing
Preferred Two (2) or more years of experience in nursing Certification/Licensure: Emergency Department Required Registered Nurse (RN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within ninety (90) days of start date Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Required within one (1) year of start date Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) Certification Required within one (1) year of start date Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required within one (1) year of start date Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Required within two (2) years of start date Preferred Relevant national certification
