  • NTICU Nurse joining an expanding, well established NTICU team
  • Have the opportunity to work with ECMO Patients
  • Work in a 30-bed CVICU that is a Level I Trauma facilityWORK SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
  • Nights
  • Weekend and Holiday requirements for each shift***By Appointment Only***Apply today to RSVP and you could be scheduled for an video Interview!!! WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  • BSN preferred.
  • 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program Required;
  • One or more years of Neuro ICU experience strongly preferred
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS upon hire – Require upon Hire
  • ACLS upon hire - Require upon Hire
  • CPI within 30 days of hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Intervenes as appropriate
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.Additional perks of being a Texas Health Employee
