Registered Nurse (RN) Full-Time Day Shift– Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for Texas Health HEBBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, Texas 76022Work hours: Full-time, Day Shift, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 am – 7:00 pmICU Department highlights:
18-bed Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) that also specializes in Trauma and Neurosurgical patient care.

Fast-paced, high-acuity unit
We offer 24/7 Intensivist coverage which provides exceptional pulmonary critical care patient oversight.

National Certification Preparation and Courses offered, as well as test reimbursement/bonus
Great nurse/doctor collaborationHere’s What You Need
Associate's Degree Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required
Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
ACLS – within 90 days required
NIHSS – within 60 days of hire
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
1 Year of experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
Current ICU experience strongly preferredWhat You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.Additional perks of being a Texas Health RN
