Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN III Nights – NICU Unit for Texas Health HEBBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health HEB, 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022Work hours: PRN Level III/per diem, Night Shift; 7 pm-7 am; minimum requirement: 6 shift/per 6-week schedule, 2 weekend shift/per 6-week schedule, 1 major/2 minor holiday requirementNICU Department highlights:Work environment: The Siratt Women's Center at Texas Health Hurst Euless Bedford (HEB) Hospital has a part-time opportunity for an experienced NICU RN.16 bed NICU unit with an average of 200 deliveries a monthLevel III NICUMaternal Designation IIIHere’s What You NeedAssociate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferredRN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire requiredBCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredNRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days of hireNRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation within 90 days of hireCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire1 year experience as a Registered Nurse requiredCurrent NICU experience strongly preferred

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing ProcessAssesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
