Education
✓Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Practitioner program.
✓Associate degree required
✓A minimum associate's degree in respiratory care (or equivalent) is required.
✓Graduation from a Registered Respiratory Therapy Program approved by the Commission For The Accreditation Of Respiratory Care Education (CoARC).
BS/BA degree is desirable. preferred
A bachelor’s degree in respiratory care or other associated bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Qualifications
✓New Grads are encouraged to apply.
✓Must be able to understand medical terminology, medical anatomy and physiology and to effectively convey this information in written and verbal format to others.
✓Strong understanding of pulmonary anatomy and physiology relative to the tests performed.
✓Should be mechanically inclined with good manual dexterity for equipment troubleshooting.
✓Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
