As an Emergency Department RN, you will provide direct patient care across a wide range of acuity levels while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, effective treatment and positive patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care Performing rapid assessments and prioritizing treatment based on patient acuity Documenting care accurately and efficiently within the electronic health record Coordinating care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary team members Delegating patient care activities appropriately based on team member competency and scope of practice Promoting patient safety, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient experiences Participating in quality improvement, infection prevention, and departmental initiatives Maintaining clinical excellence through ongoing education and professional development What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience Demonstrated ability to independently manage: Cardiac patients Complex medical-surgical patients Pediatric patients Multiple trauma patients Proven clinical competence and strong critical thinking skills
