Here’s What You NeedEducationNursing Diploma Nursing Required OrAssociate's Degree Nursing Required OrBachelor's Degree Nursing PreferredExperience1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is required2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting is preferredLicenses and CertificationsRN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required AndBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly RequiredSkillsA high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

As a nurse, you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety, physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness, while providing safe patient care. The charge nurse role will support and actively participate in shared governance/councils which is THR’s structure for decision making. This role directly assists leadership on a particular unit or units and shift, by offering staff guidance and support.
