• Step facility, has previously been named “Best Place to Have a Baby” and is a Maternal Level IV designated facility· Work hours: Full Time Nights (6:45PM-7:15AM) for 36 hours/week, with Weekend and holiday requirements plus some call-requirements Labor & Delivery Department highlights:· Self
• Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth· Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team· 18-bed LDR's, 5-bay OB/ED, 3 OR suites· Average 275 + deliveries per month· Wide range of patients and plan of care – nitrous oxide, Midwifery and a referral center for high-risk patients.· High-paced environment.· Maternal-fetal medicine providers for both consultations and deliveriesHere’s What You Need· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma required· BSN is preferred· CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required· One (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), or completion of an RN residency program required.· 18 months or more of Labor & Delivery RN experience from a Level 3 or above maternal designated facility strongly preferred· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required· ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire· NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days is required· NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required· CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
