Senior Accountant | Finance & Accounting

Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work environment while supporting key financial operations and reporting. 💻 Work Style: Hybrid 📍 Location: at one of our FL locations, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Leesburg or St Johns. 🕒 FTE: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Oversees the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manages accounts payable and receivable processes, reconciles bank statements and general ledger accounts, and supports month-end and year-end close activities.

Coordinates with auditors during audits, monitors internal controls to safeguard organizational assets, and ensures adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements. Assists with tax preparation and filing, and contributes to budgeting and forecasting processes. Provides guidance and oversight to junior accounting staff, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness while supporting continuous improvement within the finance function.

Provides guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff. Reviews work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards. Demonstrated knowledge of hospital finance and patient financial data systems, including both mainframe and PC-based applications.

Strong communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations. QualificationsMinimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required. Qualifications5+ years of experience in accounting. Strong expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis.

Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes. In-depth knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards. Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software.
