Job OverviewFairview Range is hiring a Surgical Scheduler (temporary increase in FTE) for our Surgical Services team in Hibbing, MN. As the Surgical Scheduler you will schedule both inpatient and outpatient surgeries using surgeon orders, have daily interactions with surgeons and physician offices as well as pre-registering patients. You will be responsible for posting charges, order entry and post-op data entry as well as performs clerical and other duties as assigned.
This position is temporary FTE increase to full-time. The shift length will be 8-hour day with no weekends. Anticipated time frame is 60 days for the temporary FTE.

ResponsibilitiesDirect Patient Care.
Transports patients in a safe and courteous manner. Assists in obtaining information from the patient and/or significant other about patient special care needs and reports to RN. Identifies and promptly reports changes in the patient's condition.
Demonstrates organizational skills. Computer, Clerical and Informational Management. Demonstrates competency in use of the Surgical software system.
Accurately schedules surgical procedures. Logs post procedure surgical case data. Accurately prepares daily, monthly, and other requested reports.
Reviews patient charge accurately. Enters charges accurately and post logs. Able to use computer systems with accuracy.
